At the Zoo

Mommy, Daddy and Nicolas took a trip to the Zoo and the Rainforest while in Cleveland.




We saw EVERY exhibit and walked the entire path of the zoo and had a great time.






The best part of the day was riding on Mommy and Daddy's shoulders. (Ouch!) Even with only one shoe on, Nicolas felt like he was a giant!
















But eventually all 26 lbs. of Nicolas got too heavy!















So eventually he went back into his stroller and took a nap.

When Nicolas woke up, we continued out tour of the zoo and looked through the kangaroo and wallaby exhibit.

The Getaway

We took a little break from South Florida and went to Cleveland to stay at Grandma's house. (without grandma unfortunately)








Mommy, Daddy and Nicolas took a big plane from Fort Lauderdale. Nicolas even got his own seat but slept on Mommy's lap instead.














While we were there Nicolas spent time doing his favorite activity: SWINGING!













And lounging...















And eating!

Nicolas also tried some new things like watering the garden with Daddy and Grandpa, who came to visit.

He tried on Grandpa's slippers.

And he tried on funny hats.

Playing with Daddy

Mommy, Daddy and Nicolas took a walk to the park on Sunday. It was another hot one. We did anything we could to get some relief.












Nicolas tried the splash pad. But he didn't like it.








Then we tried laying under a shady spot in the park. But Nicolas wasn't too thrilled.










So Daddy put Nicolas in the swing
and he was happy again!

Lazy Summer Day

Today was another hot one. The humidity makes it feel like 100+ and we are melting. This morning we took a walk to the park and Nicolas took a ride in the swings, one of his favorite activities!

Then we took our lunch to the pool and took a dip before the sky turned stormy.

Nicolas is 21 Months!

This past Wednesday, Nicolas turned 21 months! It's hard to believe that in a few months we will be celebrating 2 years! His 8.8 lb body was so tiny compared to the 25 lbs. that he is today!





On Wednesday, Nicolas and Mommy were on the local CBS station, that did a story on Stroller Strides, the exercise class that Mommy is doing. (Still have "baby weight" to lose!) Check it out!
